Use the same names IRCC prints on the passport bio page. Staff copy these lines into the IRCC web form.

Current marital status is asked in section 8 (Family Ties) — same IRCC field. Do not guess a UCI.

Mailing address as IRCC will print it on the application.

Copy the status type and expiry from the permit, not from memory.

These match IRCC Schedule A background questions. Answer Yes or No — leave nothing blank.

Ever refused a visa, permit, or entry (any country)?

Ever asked to leave, deported, or removed from any country?

Ever arrested, charged, or convicted of a crime in any country?

Currently subject to a removal order or refugee claim?

Any medical condition you believe IRCC may consider relevant?

Biometrics completed for current application?

Family in Canada (check all that apply):

Staff copy these three tables into IRCC online. Travel, employment, and education stay on separate tables — work and education rows are what CRS / IRCC use for points. Fill every row that applies.

List every country lived in 6+ months since age 18 — determines police certificates needed.

Employment table — not education. Do not put school names here. CRS scoring needs a full job history (dates, employer, NOC, hours), not a single “current occupation” line.

List jobs since about 2016, most recent first. Include from/to dates, company, position, NOC (if known), hours per week, and main duties. Use current in the To column if still employed. Complete at least four rows when possible.

Education table — not employment. Same IRCC copy-paste packet. Do not put employers or job titles here. Each school / credential needs its own row for CRS education points and ECA.

List each credential with from/to dates, institution, credential level, field of study, city, and country.

Status urgency (check if applicable):

Check documents you already have ready. Upload scans in the document upload panel above (passport, permits, letters, PSA/NBI, etc.).
