Commitment
Explore Beyond Borders Inc. aims to make explorebeyondborders.ca usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. We work toward conformance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical target.
Measures in place
- Skip-to-main-content links on public pages
- Semantic headings and form labels on intake and assessment forms
- Keyboard-operable navigation and mobile menus
- Text alternatives on primary brand images
- Responsive layouts for phone and desktop viewports
Known limitations
Some PDF forms (including official IRCC templates), embedded third-party widgets, and complex multi-step forms may not yet meet every WCAG criterion. We continue to improve labels, focus order, and contrast as we update the site.
